A small delegation (Second Lieutenant plus two Sgts) from 32 Regt RA will be in Ottawa next week as part of the RA’s 300th Anniversary Celebration. They will bring the Captain General’s Baton to Parliament Hill on Monday, 18 April at 1115. The Colonel Commandant would like to see as many Gunners as possible present on the Hill as it will make a great photo op!
For the Ottawa Gunners: It seems that the items of interest are the “Photo Op” at the “Eternal Flame” at 11:15 hrs Monday followed by a signing ceremony in the “OP” at the Mess and a light lunch.
Please note dress for retired pers includes the Gunner tie. Suggest blazer with Arty badge would also be appropriate.
